About Sierra Grishaber

Sierra has a beautiful ability to create safe, intentional spaces that inspire vulnerability, movement, and connection among women.

Her wisdom on herbalism and womb support was shared with such care and clarity at the event I attended, making the experience both grounding and empowering.

She guides students through mindful yoga at Shakti Chandra, blending breath, movement, and presence to cultivate strength, balance, and inner clarity daily.

Biography

Sierra Grishaber is a passionate yoga and dance teacher, sound healer, herbalist, and women’s circle facilitator with specialized training in Vinyasa and Yin Yoga, as well as elemental and embodied dance practices. She weaves yogic philosophy and conscious lifestyle principles into every offering, believing deeply in Sadhana—a daily spiritual practice—as an essential foundation for personal growth, healing, and transformation.

Sierra approaches yoga as a way of life rather than a practice confined to the studio. She encourages students to cultivate awareness, listen deeply to their bodies, and develop a clear, grounded connection to their inner experience. Through mindful movement, breathwork, and presence, she guides students toward mental clarity and an embodied understanding of their unique path—on and off the mat. Her teachings emphasize that yoga extends far beyond physical postures (asanas), offering tools for conscious living and self-discovery.

Blending yoga with her love of dance, Sierra facilitates both elemental and personal embodiment through movement. Her dance offerings invite participants to release fear, self-doubt, and limiting beliefs, allowing the body to express itself authentically. By dissolving the concept of “good” or “bad” dancing, she creates a supportive environment where individuals can experience the deep healing power of movement. Her intuitive dance practices incorporate structured choreography, free ecstatic movement, contact dance, and somatic exploration, encouraging freedom, beauty, and self-expression.

One of Sierra’s greatest passions is holding women’s circles—creating intentional, sacred spaces where women can gather to connect, share, heal, and reclaim their inner wisdom. These circles are rooted in embodiment, ritual, and community, allowing participants to feel seen, supported, and empowered as they deepen their relationship with themselves and one another. Her circles usually include activities like guided & ecstatic dance, song circles, herbalism, art & community connection. Sierra further enhances her sessions with sound healing, integrating gongs, singing bowls, drums, and other therapeutic instruments to support relaxation, energetic balance, and inner alignment. Through her multifaceted and heart-centered approach, Sierra guides students into deeper connection with their bodies, their truth, and their innate capacity for healing.

Herbalism & Earth-Based Healing

Sierra discovered herbalism through her own journey of deepening connection with her body, particularly while learning to regulate her menstrual cycle and hormonal health. Through firsthand experience with the strength & effectiveness of plant medicine, she felt called to continue exploring this ancient and intuitive form of healing. What began as personal healing evolved into a profound devotion, eventually guiding her toward a predominantly natural and earth-centered approach to wellness in her own life.

Sierra continues to deepen her education and relationship with the plants. Her work with herbs has supported her in feeling more connected to the Earth, her body, and her ancestral lineage. Inspired by the wisdom and accessibility of plant medicine, Sierra hopes to empower others to reconnect with herbalism as a tool for self-healing, remembrance, and embodied sovereignty.

Mission

Statement

My mission is to help people reconnect with their bodies & truth through intentional movement, inner reflection, and compassionate community support. I aim to empower each individual to feel confident in their being, strong in their body, and deeply connected to their own inner wisdom. I create spaces where people feel safe to listen inward, release what no longer serves them, and embody their most authentic selves. I firmly believe that the foundation of our own healing is community. There is a profound transformation that unfolds through unity. With inner healing comes collective healing. With collective healing comes a better world.
